11/17/05 Time for Change Apache Indian 8/10
Apache Indian has been around for a long time. I have not heard any new music from him for a while. The title of his new album, "Time For Change", might reflect his new attitude. I am impressed! I had low expectations for this CD, I don't know why, but I did. It turns out to be pretty good! Fun upbeat progressive Riddims, great production, and cleaver lyrics, makes Apache's latest a keeper.

There are so many tracks on the pre-release I received that it is hard to keep track of dem. Seems like all of them are good, and a few are off the hook!

A lot of the tracks have a Middle Eastern and Asian sound. There is even a track with an Indian back up singer singing in Hindi! Very cool. That is one of the best tracks on the CD, Track 14. But this is a pre-release and I think they will change the play list around. All and all, this is a great progressive, upbeat dancehall CD.I like all the cutting edge sound effects. I also like to see Apache Indian forwarding Reggae Music. Bug up Apache!
